Crater Lake beauty

We travelled inland in Oregon to Crater Lake, elevation 6, 178 ft. The Lake is a result of volcanic eruption many years ago.

We stayed at Diamond Lake where this sunset was captured.

Mist rising from Crater Lake.

Geographers studying the Crater Lake map route -33 miles around the lake.

While taking this photo, a lizard scooted by!Phantom ship in lake.

beautiful photos! How exciting it must be to be able to vacation in a whole new area! I think the hot springs would be my vacation destination of choice! It would be hard to drag me out of there :)

Wow! Gorgeous! Folks won't be able to decide where to vacation... with the the Flootmans in the west or the van Eyks in the east.
Love the blog! Keep it coming!
