Christmas family gatherings.

My dear sister, Bernice and her family welcomed us into their home and treated us very well. We enjoyed Christmas Day with them....

and learned many new things! We are enjoying egg mcmuffins that Albert learned how to make thanks to Gord. Peter is a real encourager of Albert's cooking abilities, asking daily for egg mcmuffins! Here Albert is learning to prepared stuffed pork tenderloin...move over Scott...here comes Albert!

Peter and Gideon enjoyed playing with their cousins, Lillia and Eric in the beautiful snow.

Dinner at Aunt Joyce's place was enjoyed by all especially the boys as their sweet Auntie made macaroni and cheese for dinner! Peter gets bragging rights for this photo.

Christmas Eve fun with Uncle Harry and Aunt Janey.
with cousins.....
and Aunt Anita
Boxing Day feast at Oma's house involved cousin Joan teaching Peter how to peel apples for apple pie!
....mixing the ingredients....

the finished product -- "Yummy!"

A delightful dinner was enjoyed with some of Geraldine's siblings prior to the venture home. We praise our Lord for the many blessings he gave us throughout our travels, our visits with family and friends and particularly the joy of celebrating his love for us in Jesus. His love keeps us in this New Year.

Despite the fact that I was "under the weather", it was a pleasure hosting y'all (as Joan would say) on Christmas eve. We miss you all very much!! I am thinking if we make it out your way, we will be looking forward to some stuffed pork tenderloin a la Albert!!!! Big Bro, you never cease to amaze me!
