Honestly, the truck contains three families' belongings not just ours -we had a very successful garage sale prior to anything being loaded on this moving truck!
The focus of the trip was to get to our new home town so the sight seeing was limited to most impressive sights. Here are some the boys enjoyed and a few historical sites.
An amazing hotel pool with wading pool, sprays, and huge waterslide that daddy enjoyed.

Upon seeing the mountains of B.C. from the Lethbridge, AB area, Peter and Gideon composed their song "B.C. yeah! B.C. yeah!...." quite entertaining.

Not far from Calgary, Alberta, and just east of the Crowsnest Pass, lies the small, bustling town of Frank, Alberta, nestled on the floor of a deeply-glaciated valley. Looming menacingly nearby is Turtle Mountain. Also nearby is a scene of a destruction of such magnitude that it has never been equalled!
In the early morning hours of April 29, 1903, Turtle Mountain collapsed, resulting in the greatest landslide in North American history. In 100 seconds: at least 76 people were buried alive under tons of massive limestone boulders; three-quarters of the homes in Frank were crushed like balsa wood; over a mile of the Canadian Pacific Railroad was completely destroyed; and a river became a lake.
Yet, few people have ever heard about it. Here is a picture we captured of it.

Wow, that dumptruck is impressive! What possible reason could there be for making one that big? I wish I could drive something like that, just once - what a hoot that would be! Keep the blog going, it's fun to see your pics and read your stories. (Geraldine, ever considered developing your writing talent? You have a real flair.) See y'all in three weeks! Rocco and I can't wait to get there. We will need to appoint one of the 2 Kinghts to keep Rocco out of the way while I help you with the renovations. Will there be time for me to go hiking, fishing and canoeing? We are having some classic Florida summer weather,now. We're getting rain every day, which is perfect, and the temperature hovers around 30 degrees Celsius, on an average. What is Creston's weather like? I need to know how to pack my suitcase.
Imagine the sandbox you could have with a dumptruck that big! It would be bigger than our house! That waterpark at the hotel looks fun! Nothing like a pool to get the travelling kinks out!
Ever seen any "living" books on that landslide? Would be interesting... sure to give Jono "the freaks"!!
