Balmy, sunny November!

A glorious Saturday morning for raking leaves - 18 degrees!
We enjoyed an afternoon nature walk at a local RAMSAR site.

Initially this knight was entertained with his "reed-sword" but soon the 5km walk turned into "When are we going to be there?!"
We were all mesmerized by hundreds of Canada geese lifting off, regrouping, and settling again in the marshland.
As the sun set on the horizon church bells rang in a nearby village calling others to worship the Creator of this beauty.

Fun and Treats

Peter dressed up as a bag of Jelly Beans (thank you Lillia for the idea!)

Gideon dressed up as a Leafs in honour of his Uncle S.

On our way to dear elderly folk in our neighbourhood. Aunt M & Uncle J who live in this city treated the boys with family sized chip bags and ziploc bags of candy! We also enjoyed spending time with Gideon's friend Nathan's family. It was a fun time. We even watched some of the Leafs game at Uncle J's house after!

Fireman, Police, and 1812 soldiers!

At the local Police Safety Village, Gideon learned about fire safety...

Road safety while an officer and "Junior officer" looked on...and fought with Peter as soldiers in the fort on the Conservation grounds.

Six years old!

Already six years old and reading his birthday card.
The ever loved toy was received with great joy!We visited a local conservation area and enjoyed the autumn weather.
A birthday party with a new friend from church and swimming was enjoyed by the boys.
